BLOW OUT BOOTCAMP – APRIL 9TH 2023
This will be my second Workshop teaching the art of Blow Outs! The first one back in 2021, was such a big success that we decided to do it again! Blow Outs are back in fashion and in demand by clients of all ages. In this workshop, you will learn how to create the perfect blowout by learning the tricks and techniques to properly execute salon-quality blowouts quickly, easily and mobile.
My love story with Blow Outs began back in 2016, and it was not love at first sight.
No, it wasn’t! To be fair, blowouts are misleadingly easy – when I was in hair school, I liked styling the most and I thought I was okay with it until I started working at the famous blow dry bar “Blo” back in 2016. The rhythm was intense, and the hair types we were working with were very challenging. We had to perfectly blow dry and style long, heavy and frizzy hair in 45 minutes time. That’s no joke! Figuring out and absorbing all the essential tricks and techniques to move quickly, accurately and safely (wrist strains are common) was my turning point from “I hate this!” to “This is oddly satisfying!”.
What to expect from this workshop
HOW TO do a blowout mobile where a hair washing sink, shampoo and conditioner, are not available to you.
FIRST STEPS: how to prep the hair for a blowout, the best products for different hair types, hair sectioning, choosing the right brush and holding it the right way to get the right tension and to prevent wrist pain or repetitive strain injuries.
SMOOTH & STRAIGHT: from frizz to sleek, learn how to smooth down even the most difficult hair.
SMOOTH & BOUNCY: learn how to achieve the classic round brush blowout look, hair setting with a round brush, and curl setting with pin set.
TIPS & TRICKS: how to deal with bangs and extensions, finishing touches for absolute blowout perfection, and making it last using the right products.
What you will need to attend
(Besides basic hair skills and a desire to improve!)
- 1 curly or wavy-haired model to arrive at 11.30 am
- Blowdryer
- Small, medium, and large round brush
- Tail comb
- Clips & pins (long metal duckpins for pin set)
- Medium and strong hold hairspray
- Any wet hair product they have (volumizing mousse, frizz relaxing balm, sculpting & defining lotion)

CLEAN TEXTURE, MODERN & EFFORTLESS BRIDAL UP-STYLES – APRIL 23RD 2023
After taking the Cara Clyne Masterclass course in 2020, I reconsidered the way I was taught up-styling. Most stylists I’ve met and worked with, don’t know how to do texture properly! To be honest with you, once I had my eyes opened on these new techniques, I had the urge to spread the knowledge. I’m so tired of seeing stiff, outdated updos out there! The effortless Updo Hairstyles have been all the rage in the Bridal industry for at least two years now and we will definitely see them sticking around for Bridal season 2023. I have been teaching 1:1 classes (find out more here) for the past 2 years with amazing feedback from my students. The 1:1 classes are definitely still up for grabs but this masterclass is a great chance to work together with other students and get the knowledge at a lower rate.

- Reading hair reference photos, breaking down, and recreating the look your client really wants (without panicking!)
- How to prep the hair (crimping & teasing)
- Pinning the crown
- Understanding lines & volumes
- Creating and securing our effortless-looking buns

BONUS: I’ll show you how to take more flattering photos and a couple of tricks to edit them quickly and easily (essential to shine in the era of social media)

- Hot tools (flat iron, curling iron, crimper)
- Bobby pins & hairpins
- Dry hairstyling products – soft hold paste, volume powder, wet hairspray, aerosol medium hold hairspray
